Les Femmes founded by Rossana Novella, aims to celebrate women with photographs to tell your story. We are all on different stages in our life, with many chapters and milestones we would like to remember.
Celebrating years around the sun, starting a new business, moving to a new country, training for a marathon, a new job position, getting married, creating a new life, recovering from a serious illness, motherhood, loosing the unwanted kg once and for all, travelling to a dream location, writing the first novel and much more. Let me take pictures of you which will help you promote your business or cherish those special moments in your live. Be it a special Birthday, landing your dream job, getting in shape, rebuilding your life or just because you wish to celebrate YOU.

Each brand has a story to tell on the why, the how and who for. It has its own personality with its own vibe and feel. And thats why photography its ever so important, its your window to the world and how your brand its percieved.
At university I not only studied photography but cultural studies, marketing and branding. I also had a father that was an executive in the world of advertising, hence why it's a world that fascinates me and love helping independent female run businesses to elevate their online presence or create marketing campaigns.
ABOUT ROSSANA NOVELLA
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina raised in Barcelona, Spain and then living in the English countryside and London. Having had a grandmother who was a swimwear designer and seamstress in Argentina and been brought up by my mother who was so inspiring by having her own businesses as a jewellery designer, artist and owned boutiques. My grandfather was an entrepreneur with various businesses in Argentina and Spain. And my father was an executive producer that worked in marketing and advertising , which as kids we would wait eagerly for his advertising campaigns to come up on television ! Which it’s the reason I also studied marketing and branding as it fascinates me. Hence why I enjoy very much creating and telling stories for independent brands with my photography.
Before studying photography, marketing and branding at University I was a Milliner and designed, made hats for royal Ascot, Buckingham Palace and celebrities.
So having being raised by my extremely, stylish, eco conscious entrepreneurial mother with various successful creative businesses always in full spirits never giving up no matter how hard thing were at times, which I miss her tremendously, hence I created Les Femmes project and this website in her memory and my grandmother, both Novellas.
Why the name 'Les Femmes' for the personal project ? Because we always dreamed of Paris after the best holiday we had together, so I thought it would be very apt.
So having had a lot of tragedy in my personal life, in more ways than one, I rather focus on the positive side of life.
MISSION STATEMENT
My mission at Les Femmes portraits goes deeper and further than creating beautiful empowering portraits and helping women tell their branding stories.. I believe that true empowerment is not only about accepting and treasuring oneself but also about making a difference in the lives of others. Hence as an official sponsor of the renowned Malala Found, I've designed a collection of T-shirts with slogans to raise awareness and funds to help provide education for young girls.
The collection will be available to purchase in March with your choice of slogan which thinks best defines you or your friends :-)

The Experience

We start with a consultation were we discuss your style and how you would like to be photographed by looking at a series of images from a mood board for inspiration. Following that, I'll create a private Pinterest mood board of ideas for wardrobe, hair and make up to go with your style chosen.
